I love Simon Pegg and he is good, but the story is a bit sappy and predictable. It was not bad, though.

I JUST SAW THE FREE PRESS PREVIEW. AND THIS IS ONE MOVIE DEFINITELY WORTH WATCHING. TO BE HONEST, I HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT - BUT I FOUND THAT ONE SHOULD NOT BE TOO QUICK TO JUDGE A MOVIE'S TITLE (SOMETIMES). I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AND THRILLED BY HOW ENTERTAINING THIS MOVIE TURNED OUT - ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS A FIRST-TIME DIRECTING EFFORT BY DAVID SCHWIMMER (FRIENDS). IT IS A APPEALING (ACROSS ALL DEMOGRAPHICS) UP-LIFTING CHARMING AND UNPRETENTIOUS DOWN-TO-EARTH (AND FUNNY!!!! - BRITISH-HUMOR) COMEDY ABOUT A RUNAWAY GROOM WHO LATER TRIES TO WIN BACK HIS WOMAN, AND KID - AND IN THE PROCESS DISCOVERS HIMSELF - CONFRONTING HIS DEMONS AND FINDING HIS INNER STRENGTHS. THIS MOVIE WILL HAVE YOU ROOTING FOR THE UNDERDOG ALL THE WAY! KUDOS TO THE GREAT CAST! AND ESPECIALLY TO THE HIGHLY-COMMENDABLE SUPPORTING PLAYERS! ASSUMING YOU HAVE TO PAY, THIS MOVIE IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION. GO SEE IT WITH YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER - AND HAVE A BLAST TOGETHER!

I saw this movie because I love Simon Pegg's films. If you are a fan of "Shaun of the Dead" or "Hot Fuzz," I promise that you will not be let down. I thought the film looked cute enough, but was uncertain if it would be as good as the others. It was very funny! I was surprised that it was "a feel-good movie" too because that phrase normally makes me roll my eyes (I hate pointless tearjerkers,) but this movie was heartfelt without being hokey or lame. You have to see it!

When i saw the new releases for the past of weekend of 3/29/08 my first thought was the movie 21. When i got to theatre every other person in town had the same idea, so i decieded to see this movie. I originally had plans to see this movie but not this weekend. When i saw the movie, i was glad and really grateful that i chose to sit through it. I had doubts but it turned out to be a great romantic comedy. I saw a thougtful movie of a man trying to find atonement from his long lost love. He had a great realtionship with his son and work around the estranged wifes new boyfriend. This movie has great humor, similar to the humor in Hot Fuzz and it didn't take away from the value of the movie in general. This is a good movie for people who want a simple yet unique to the traditional type of movie.
